Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 2: Table Mountain & City Tour
Ride the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway (weather permitting) for views. Explore the Castle of Good Hope and colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood.
Day 3: Cape Peninsula & Penguins
Scenic drive along Chapman's Peak. Visit Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguin colony.
Day 4: Fly to Johannesburg & Kruger Lodge
Take a flight to Johannesburg, then drive to a safari lodge on the border of Kruger National Park. Take an evening game drive.
Day 5: Full Day Kruger Safari
Go on a sunrise safari in open 4x4 vehicles. Search for the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo) with park rangers. Dinner around a traditional Boma fire.
Day 6: Panorama Route Scenic Drive
Drive the Panorama Route. See Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's Luck Potholes, and God's Window viewpoint.
Day 7: Johannesburg Soweto Tour
Drive back to Johannesburg. Tour Soweto township, visiting Nelson Mandela's former house.
Day 8: Check Out & Departure
Visit the local craft market. Transfer to O.R. Tambo International Airport for departure.
